Participating in BEDA, my own way

I've decided to participate in Blog Every Day April even if it warps my fingers into creepy witch curls.  For more info, read the rules on Maureen Johnson's blog or do a search for #BEDA on Twitter.

Here's my vow:

I commit to this idea and am determined to create something EVERY DAY in April, including weekends. Every day, I will find something to say. I embrace the reality that there is always something to talk about, if you are willing to take the time to look for it.

I, Audry, promise to blog every day in April.

I have to bend BEDA to my will, however, so I'm adding a second set of  "self rules" that apply only to me.  I recommend establishing your own self rules if you want to turn BEDA into something that forces you to stretch as a writer or encourages you to get to know your creative demon better.

1. Stretch Blogging.  Every blog must be about a different subject, and each blog must stretch me in some way as a writer.  The subject and how it will make me stretch will be stated in the subject line of the blog.

2. BEDA FOLLOW FRIDAYS.  On Friday, my blog has to be a response to another blog I'm following (so that I remain socially involved during this period).

3. Less than 400 is More than 1,000.  Each blog has to come in under 400 words.  Now the whole thing's an exercise in editing!  Okay, now I'm in trouble...

It all begins on Wednesday!  I may opt to be silent until then, to save up my ideas.  ^_^
